Aloha everyone! Today I'm going to talk about something that is near and dear to my heart. As you've might of guessed it this blog is about Sailor Moon. As of recently I posted a video to Tumblr that had my notifications going off the hook. I posted the video of my new "toy" which is really like my crowning jewel in my collection. What is it? It is the Proplica Crystal Moon Brooch.
The question of the month was: Where do I purchase it? I'm not going to lie, I didn't order it online. I actually had the option of preordering it from a shop here called MiniQ. If you guys remember previously I bought a few key chains on my first shopping trip there. Since then I've had a chance to procure more items through them.
Here are the two compacts side by side. The Proplica version looks like the anime and the original 90's version is much different. The outside of the Proplica is how I imagined it would look. The original 90's version has the wrong cover for it but the right innards. Is it worth the price? I would say it is. The sounds are loud but it is the original Usagi's voice and it even plays the original transformation music.
So the next time I post something from my collection just know it's from MiniQ.
